Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A.) Course

  • 76 hours (Class room teaching & lab training) 
    • Evening class completed in 3 weeks
    • Day class is done in 10 days!
  • Tuition: $485 
    • Includes registry, tuition, testing and book.


  • Testing Fees are included in the tuition!
  • Written exam is done at the school
  • Skills exam is done at the school


Program Objectives: 

  • The participant will be able to:
    • Identify the work setting and the job responsibilities of the nursing assistant. Concepts include communication, safety precautions, infection control, abuse/neglect & emergency care.
    • Apply skills and principals used in the role of the nursing assistant to aide patients to meet their basic physical  safety and psychosocial needs of the patients



  • At least 16 years old
  • Ability to speak, read, write & understand English 
  • Persons with a criminal record, substance abuse problems, abuse/neglect issues or health problems that interfere with safe practices may not be eligible for state testing or employment. 
  • In good physical health and able to lift at least 25 pounds


Certified Medication Aide (C.M.A.) Course

  • 40 hours (on-site instruction & training)
    • Typically completed in 2 weeks
    • Day class is 4 days!
  • Tuition: $360 
    • Includes tuition skills testing and book  


Program Objectives

  • The participant will be able to:
    • Recognize the 14 basic competencies needed in order to safely provide another person with his or her medication in accordance with the Nebraska Medication Aide Act. 
    • Identify specific drug families, actions, side effects, and use to treat or prevent disease. 
    • Recognize the responsibilities of the medication aide in relation to PRN medications, providing medications by vaginal, rectal, tube or inhaled routes, and providing insulin by injection.



  • At least 18 years old
  • Ability to speak, read, write & understand English 


  • The state of Nebraska has designated testing sites for Medication Aides.  Information regarding registration and fees will be given to students during the class.
